SENYO Confirms USD 20 Million Investment and Will Establish Plant in Marabis Abasolo Industrial Park

Japanese company SENYO, through its CEO Masafumi Kishida, has confirmed an investment of 20 million US dollars for the establishment of its new plant in the municipality of Abasolo, Guanajuato, within the Marabis Abasolo Industrial Park, which the company has identified as the ideal location for investment in Mexico.

This major announcement followed a meeting in Japan between representatives of SENYO and the Governor-elect of Guanajuato, Libia Denisse García Muñoz Ledo, as part of the state’s investment promotion tour. The company plans to generate 70 new direct jobs in the region, contributing to the economic and social development of the municipality of Abasolo, Guanajuato.

The choice of Marabis Abasolo Industrial Park is based on its excellent strategic location, world-class infrastructure, and proximity to the main logistics and industrial corridors of the Bajío region—factors that make this park an optimal platform for global companies like SENYO. In addition, developer Marabis is building an 11,000 m² facility that will house the operations of this new plant, ensuring a space designed to maximize efficiency and support the company’s advanced manufacturing needs.

With this new plant, SENYO will strengthen its advanced manufacturing capabilities, with a strong commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. This investment also reinforces Guanajuato’s leadership as one of the top destinations for foreign direct investment in Mexico, especially in sectors such as automotive, auto parts, and high-tech manufacturing.

The arrival of SENYO in Abasolo represents a milestone for the municipality, which now joins the network of cities in Guanajuato attracting high-impact strategic projects, boosting the local economy and creating valuable employment opportunities.
