SK TEC announces expansion at the Castro del Río Industrial Park in Irapuato, Guanajuato, with an investment of over 380 million pesos.

The company SK TEC announced a significant expansion of its operations at the Castro del Río Industrial Park, located in Irapuato, with an investment exceeding 380 million pesos. This expansion will generate 80 new jobs, strengthening its presence in the Bajío region and reaffirming its commitment to the economic development of Guanajuato.

The announcement was led by the company’s CEO, Hideki Kawase, and the elected governor of the state of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Muñoz Ledo, who highlighted the positive impact of this investment both for the region and the industrial sector in Mexico.

Since its arrival at the Castro del Río Industrial Park in 2013, SK TEC has built a solid track record in the country, relying from the start on this industrial ecosystem that offers world-class infrastructure, strategic location, and comprehensive support for businesses. Today, that bet pays off with a strong company that continues to grow.

It is important to note that this expansion will take place in a specially developed 11,000 m² industrial building by Marabis, the developer of the Castro del Río Industrial Park. This space is designed to meet SK TEC’s operational needs, ensuring efficiency and capacity to support its growth in the region.

The Castro del Río Industrial Park (www.marabis.com), developed by Marabis, is one of the most important industrial complexes in the state and has been key in attracting and retaining national and international investments, becoming a strategic ally for companies like SK TEC.

With this expansion, SK TEC not only reaffirms its confidence in Guanajuato but also contributes to the regional economy by generating jobs and strengthening value chains in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
